After delighting Venice, Lyons and San Francisco, the exhibition “Fortuny by Isabelle de Borchgrave : A world of paper” can finally be seen in Brussels!

For this exhibition, Isabelle has applied her exceptional skill and talent to making more than eighty pieces by hand and in paper, creating an unusual look at the world of Mariano Fortuny: these works illustrate certain episodes in his life and introduce characters who have had an influence on his life.

The exhibition will be playful, dream-like and colourful. It is conceived and organised like a journey through senses will be stimulated through this invitation to travel.

Not to mention a space where visitors have the opportunity to touch pieces at various stages of the creative processes and the materials used to make the works.

You’ll be able to round off your visit with a break in the “Dolce Fortuny” tea room created in the studio kitchen especially for this exhibition. Jean-Michel Loriers concocted you small tasty dishes.

Children will also be given special treatment as they’ll be welcomed into a yurt. Program: storytelling, painting, collage. Appointment every Wednesday at 2pm and 14pm and weekends at 10am, 2pm and 4pm.
Guided tours
Guided tours are held every weekend at 11am and 3pm giving you the chance to find out more about the world of Fortuny and of Isabelle de Borchgrave.
